If a seller has set pickup windows, you can ask for a specific time instead of trying to arrange one in messages. It appears as a Pickup times section on the listing or item page.
Request a time
- 1Open the listing or item and find Pickup times.
- 2Tap a slot that works for you.
- 3Add an optional note if there's something the seller should know — you're driving a small car, you'll be ten minutes late, you'd like to test it first.
- 4Tap Request this time.
Your request goes to the seller as pending. The exact meeting place is not shown yet.
Once the seller accepts
You get a confirmation with the time, the meeting-place label and a short confirmation code. Show that code at handover — it lets the seller check the right person turned up without either of you sharing contact details. If the seller has a calendar connection set up, the pickup is added to their calendar too.
Managing a booking
- Open Me → Pickups to see everything you've requested and everything you've booked.
- Either side can cancel. If you need to, cancel as early as you can and say why.
- If you don't turn up, the booking is marked as a no-show — which is kept separate from a cancellation because it says something different about reliability.
Prefer a public place for a pickup even when the seller has suggested somewhere private. See Safe meetups for the short version.
