The map won't load

The map is blank or grey

1. 1Check your connection — the map downloads as you move it, so a weak signal shows as grey patches.
2. 2Pull the page down to refresh, or close and reopen the app.
3. 3Turn off any aggressive data-saver or content blocker for this site; some block map backgrounds.
4. 4Try again in a moment. The map has a backup provider, and it can take a few seconds to switch over.

The map loads but there are no pins

• Zoom out. You may be looking at a single quiet street.
• Check your active filters — a type chip or a category can narrow the map to nothing.
• Widen the distance setting, or clear it entirely.
• Turn off the Now filter if only things happening right this minute are showing.
• If you're somewhere genuinely quiet, that's real — try the Explore feed to see what's coming up nearby.

I can't see my own listing on the map

• Confirm the listing is published rather than saved as a draft.
• Check the dates. A sale that has ended stops showing.
• If it's a shop item, check you added a locality to your shop — a shop pin needs a town.
• If your vendor licence lapsed, affected items are hidden until it's renewed. You'll see the reason on the item.

The map won't centre on me

Location permission has to be allowed for the browser or app, not just the device. If you've denied it, you can still type a town into the search box and the map will jump there — and your map settings remember a home town so it opens somewhere useful next time.
