The map is the front door of Yard Snail. Every active sale, market, food truck and event is a pin, updated as things are posted and marked as ended.
Narrow the map down
- 1Tap Map in the bottom bar.
- 2Use the row of type chips across the top — Yard Sales, Farmers Markets, Food Trucks and so on — to show only that kind of thing.
- 3Use the category row to filter by what is actually being sold: Vintage, Furniture, Tools, Clothing, Toys, Electronics, Books, Kitchen, Garden.
- 4Tap the filters button to set a distance — 5, 10 or 25 miles — once you have allowed location access.
- 5Turn on Now to show only things happening this minute.
Categories are multi-select. Picking Vintage and Tools shows sales that have either, which is usually what you want when you are hunting for one good thing.
Getting there
- 1Tap any pin to open a short preview card.
- 2Tap the card, or See full listing, to open the whole listing.
- 3Tap Get Directions to hand the address to your phone's maps app.
Some sellers show an approximate area rather than an exact doorstep. If you're not sure, message them before you set off — it's one tap on the listing.
If the map looks empty, widen the distance or turn off your category filters. A quiet map usually means a narrow filter, not a quiet neighborhood.
